We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Lion. All the staff were lovely, especially Paula. Paula went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, and was very friendly. Excellent breakfast too!- Petra E

Haven House - clean and nice enough. No heat adjustment and no interaction with owner after initial check in - there are no instructions, go to the front. Parking in the back. Minimal breakfast in room = one cereal option and croissant. No protein. Chambers was a nice breakfast but closed Sundays. The Golden Lion recommended is very much a local pub on a Friday night = all good but not really set up for dinner. The Black Swan was very accommodating and good bar food. - Brent M
